Welcome to the Lydd House Centre Web site
“Lydd House Centre” is a registered charity, providing accommodation in the form of two connecting former police houses,
within which a wide range of family/social/care orientated activities take place. These activities include Playgroup, Parent Club,
NHS Clinic, Social Services, Educational Coures, and Ladies Evening Club. The organisation is managed by a co ordinator reporting
to a Management Committee, which consists of multi agency organisations, local Town Councillors and residents.
The House provides a safe and friendly environment for which groups and activities may be run for families and children of
Lydd and Romney Marsh areas.
A new ‘Fun Garden’ has now been finished enabling all children of all ages to enjoy.
Educational courses run at Lydd House are in Partnership with Kent Adult Education, University of Kent, Workers Education Association,
Next Step and other providers.
The house is a ‘User’ friendly environment with disabled access both in side the house and the garden.
